Application

Vinyl chloride can be used as a monomer precursor:
  • In the living radical polymerization reaction using copper catalysts.
  • In the synthesis of polymer poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) , poly(vinyl chloride)/montmorillonite (PVC/MMT) nanocomposites by intercalative polymerization process.
