Amano Lipase PS can be used as a catalyst in the enzymatic esterification reactions.[1] It is also used in the resolution of racemic mixtures such as (R)- and (S)-1-trimethylsilyl-1-alkyn-3-ols by enantioselective acetylation reactions.[2]
