Bis(2-hydroxypropyl)amine(Diisopropanolamine) is a flexible amino-alcohol ligand and induces the dimerisation of two trinuclear FeIII complexes to form the hexanuclear clusters.

Application

Bis(2-hydroxypropyl)amine(Diisopropanolamine) was used during the sulfinol process to remove sour gases such as hydrogen sulfide and carbonyl sulfide from natural gas.
