This technology could save the lives of millions of people suffering from chronic diseases by making it possible to ship healthy tissues across the world to use in surgery. My current goal is to diversify our chemical platform by coupling different potent agents, resulting in antimicrobial protection, tissue regeneration and long-term storage.

Since my childhood, I have always strived to achieve the best and this mindset only strengthened as I grew as a scientist and a person. Science has always been an integral part of my life; I have never stopped asking questions. I’ve been blessed to have mentors who fostered my scientific interests throughout my education and professional life. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside amazing scientists. No matter how small the achievement, I always learn something new from each one of them. I want to do something significant, not just live. Looking back, it was the perseverance and hard work that made it possible for me to work towards my goal.
