Biochem/physiol Actions

Nuclear receptor subfamily 4, group A, member 3 (NR4A3; NOR1) is an orphan receptor belonging to the steroid-thyroid hormone-retinoid receptor superfamily. It binds the NGFI-B Response Element (NBRE) and acts as transcriptional activator. NR4A3 is a regulator of mast cell function, inflammation and insulin gene expression.[1]
