Antygen powierzchniowy wirusa zapalenia wątroby typu B (HBsAg) jest antygenem białkowym wytwarzanym przez HBV. Antygen ten jest najwcześniejszym wskaźnikiem ostrego zapalenia wątroby typu B i często identyfikuje osoby zakażone przed wystąpieniem objawów.
