Immunogen

Synthetic peptide of amino acids surrounding the phosphoTyrosine 298 site of Xenopus EphrinB. Xenopus Tyrosine 298 is the homolog of mouse, rat and human Tyrosine 317 and chicken Tyrosine 305.

Western blot: 1:1,000. This antibody detects a strong band around 46kDa in rat testes lysate.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Biochem/physiol Actions

EphrinB, phosphoTyrosine 298. The antibody recognizes a protein of ~46 kDa corresponding to EphrinB, phosphoTyrosine 298 in lysates from rat testes. Immunolabeling is blocked by l-phosphatase treatment.

Physical form

Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Liquid in 10 mM HEPES (pH 7.5), 150 mM NaCl, 100 μg/mL BSA and 50% glycerol.

Preparation Note

Maintain at -20°C in undiluted for up to 6 months after date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Do not store in a self defrosting freezer.
