Opis

General description

A cell-permeable, topoisomerase II inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 59.2 µM). A derivative of podophyllotoxin (Cat. No. 540040) that has major activity against a number of tumors, including germ cell neoplasms, small cell lung cancer, and malignant lymphoma. Induces apoptosis in mouse thymocytes and in HL-60 human leukemia cells.
