test parameters
sample/matrix: 25 g milk thistle honey in a 200 mL Erlenmeyer flask at 45 °C, purged with nitrogen at 60 mL/min for 30 min as a stripping gas to collect onto a Tenax® TA tube
thermal desorption tube: 20/35 Tenax® TA, 90 mg
dry purge: back-flushed with nitrogen, 60 mL/min at room temperature for 5 min
desorption process: helium, 10 mL/min at 280 °C for 10 min to cryofocus onto a glass-lined tube at -120 °C, which was subsequently heated to 240 °C for transfer to the GC column
transfer line/valve temp.: 250 °C, transfer line directly coupled to the GC column using a press-fit connector
column: SUPELCOWAX 10, 30 m x 0.25 mm I.D., 0.25 μm (24079)
oven: 35 °C (8 min), 6 °C/min to 60 °C, 4 °C/min to 160 °C, 20 °C/min to 200 °C (1 min)
MSD interface: 230 °C
scan range: 35-300 m/z
carrier gas: helium, 1 mL/min
