General description

Chromodomain-helicase-DNA-binding protein 4 (CHD-4), often referred to as Mi-2β, is a central component of the nucleosome remodeling and histone deacetylase (NuRD) repressor complex. Mi-2β has been shown to interact with TRIM27, HDAC1, Histone deacetylase 2, MTA2, SATB1 and Ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3 related. This protein also interacts with KLF1. Sumoylation of KLF1 leads to transcriptional repression of Mi-2β.
~ 220 kDa observed

Application

Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP): A representative lot of this antibody used as part of an antibody cocktail of consisting of Anti-Mi-2β clones 2G8, 16G4 and 17H11 (cat. no. MABE915, MABE914, and MABE920 respectively) was reported to work in ChIP (see Zhang, J., et al 2012).

ChIP-seq: A representative lot of this antibody used as part of an antibody cocktail of consisting of Anti-Mi-2β clones 2G8, 16G4 and 17H11 (cat. no. MABE915, MABE914, and MABE920 respectively) was reported to work in ChIP-seq (see Zhang, J., et al 2012).
This Anti-Mi-2β Antibody, clone 2G8 is validated for use in Western Blotting and ChIP-seq and Culture Confirmation for the detection of Mi-2β.
