Application

Polyoxazolines with amine functionality can be covalently bound to carboxyl groups or sulfhydryl groups. Amines can also attach to oxidized carbohydrate groups (usually aldehydes) by reductive amination. Polyoxazolines are a biocompatible, hydrophilic, amorphous alternatives to poly(ethylene glycol).
