Recombinant SARS-COV-2(2019-nCoV) Nucleocapsid Protein is produced by E. coli expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Met1-Ala419) of SARS-COV-2(2019-nCoV) Nucleocapsid (Accession # QHD43423.2) fused with an 6XHis tag at the N-terminus.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Recombinant SARS-COV-2 Nucleocapsid at 2μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Anti-Nucleocapsid antibody with a linear range of 0.12-1.64 ng/mL. Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Recombinant SARS-CoV-2 envelope Protein at 2μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Recombinant SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapsid protein, the EC50 of Recombinant SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapsid protein is 41.10 ng/mL.
Reconstitution
For lyophilized protein : Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water.
Storage and Stability
Store the lyophilized protein at -20°C to -80°C for long term. After reconstitution, the protein solution is stable at -20°C for 3 months, at 2-8 °C for up to 1 week. This product is stable at ≤ -70°C for up to 6 months from the date of receipt. For optimal storage, aliquot into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature.
