Biochem/physiol Actions

NK-252 is a very potent, specific activator of the transcription factor Nrf2, which activates antioxidant-associated genes. NK-252 induces expression of an antioxidant response element promoter driven reporter gene, and protects Huh-7 liver cells against H202 induced cytotoxicity.
