General description
Pwo SuperYield DNA Polymerase is originally isolated from Pyrococcus woesei.
The enzyme accepts modified nucleotides for efficient labeling of nucleic acids by PCR.
PCR products are blunt-ended directly useable for blunt-end ligation.
Using the magnesium-containing reaction buffer supplied, the final MgCl2 concentration is 1.5mM.
The core component of the Pwo Master is the proofreading Pwo SuperYield DNA Polymerase which has both polymerase activity and a 3′–5′ exonuclease (proofreading) activity. Pwo SuperYield DNA Polymerase combines Pwo DNA Polymerase with an optimized buffer system. This buffer system enhances the enzymatic properties of the enzyme, resulting in higher yields of the amplification without changing the fidelity of DNA synthesis.

Application
Use this premixed, double-concentrated formulation containing PwoSuperYield DNA Polymerase, a new optimized buffer system, and PCR grade nucleotides, if your application requires better fidelity than provided by (FastStart) Taq DNA Polymerase. The product can be applied for:
- Accurate amplification of DNA critical applications
- High-throughput PCR
- High fidelity PCR
- Site-directed mutagenesis
- Cloning
- Gene expression
Features and Benefits
Pwo Master is a ready-to-use, 2x concentrated master mix. Pwo SuperYield DNA Polymerase has polymerase and 3′ → 5′ exonuclease proofreading activity, including an optimized buffer. The buffer enhances enzyme performance, synthesizing higher DNA yields of high fidelity.
- Higher yield and 18-fold higher fidelity
- Maximize convenience.
- Reduce setup time.
Packaging
1 kit containing 2 components
Quality
Quality control is performed using human genomic DNA, with primers specific for tPA that generate a 1.7kb product.
