It has pyroelectric properties. It has various applications in the fields of lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, glass industry, ceramic production, organic synthesis, and manufacture of alloys.

Aplicación

Lithium sulfate can be used:

• As a precursor to prepare solid polymer electrolytes.
• To fabricate lithium borate glasses for energy storage applications.
• As an electrolyte in self-healing aqueous lithium-ion batteries.
• As an electrolyte additive in lead acid batteries. The addition of lithium sulfate improves the life cycle and efficiency of acid batteries.
• As an electrolyte for the production of high energy and power supercapacitors.
