  1. I bought this solution without knowing that the concentration of TMA was not specifically defined. I measured the mass of 1mL of the solution to be 0.61g when the densitry range was given as 0.83-0.88 g/mL. How should I confirm the concentration of TMA?

    1. The density is confirmed on the lot-specific certificate of analysis. The concentration can be determined by [density x 1000 x percentage conc. / mw]. For example, lot BCCH3478 has a purity of 44.8% and a density of 0.862. The concentration for this particular lot is 6.53 M. Please see the link below to review this certificate of analysis:
