General description

El 1,8-diazabiciclo[5.4.0]undec-7-eno es una base amidina bicíclica. Es una base amina terciaria impedida estéricamente no nucleofílica en química orgánica. Se ha comunicado que es superior al catalizador amina de la reacción Baylis-Hillman.[1] Promueve la reacción de metilación de fenoles, índoles y benzimidazoles con carbonato de dimetilo en condiciones suaves.[2]

Application

El 1,8-diazabiciclo[5.4.0]undec-7-eno (DBU) puede utilizarse:
  • como catalizador en la esterificación de ácidos carboxílicos con carbonato de dimetilo[3]
  • en la síntesis de duocarmicina y análogos CC-1065[1]
  • como catalizador en la adición aza-Michael[4] y la reacción de condensación Knovenegal [5]
  • como base para la deshalogenación de los aductos Diels-Alder halogenados. Las 2,4-dienonas activadas resultantes fueron sometidas a adiciones de Michael región-dirigidas y estéreo-dirigidas, utilizando el reactivo de Yamamoto (CH3Cu · BF3)[6]
  • en una nueva síntesis del sistema de anillos ABCD de la camptotecina[7]
El 1,8-diazabiciclo[5.4.0]undec-7-eno se utiliza como catalizador para la disolución y activación de la celulosa mediante una reducción reversible de sus grupos hidroxilo con dióxido de carbono. Este sistema de celulosa disuelta puede derivatizarse para formar ésteres mezclados de celulosa..[8][9]
Se utiliza en una nueva síntesis del sistema de anillos ABCD de la camptotecina.[7]

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.     1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.
