General description

Human lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of a target protein in biological samples, such as serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine, and cell and tissue lysates. LBP is an acute-phase protein. It can initiate an immune response by binding to the bacterial cell wall. LBP is localized in the liver.

Gut microbiota affects the host's metabolism, and it is suggested that there are differences in gut microbiota composition between patients with type 2 diabetes and healthy individuals.
