General description
M650F01 – a metabolite of ametoctradin and one of the main products of degradation of the parent compound in the soil. Ametoctradin is a fungicide approved for use in many countries for the control of economically damaging fungal diseases on fruit and vegetables.
The parent compound and metabolites M650F01 and M650F06 are usually found to be suitable markers in livestock commodities, therefore, the residue definitions for enforcement and risk assessment were proposed as a sum of ametoctradin, M650F01, and M650F06, expressed as ametoctradin.
Ametoctradin has to be monitored in the Multiannual Control Programme for Pesticides Residues (MACP), run within the EU and EFTA in/on products of plant origin.
