General description

1,2−Dichloroethane is a chlorinated hydrocarbon, which is produced in highest volumes compared to any other chlorinated derivatives of hydrocarbons.

Application

1,2−Dichloroethane may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in water by automated purge and trap (PT) coupled to gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and in pharmaceutical products by headspace-programmed temperature vaporization-fast GC-MS and in municipal wastewater by headspace−solid phase microextraction−gas chromatography (HS-SPME-GC).
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.

Other Notes

This Certified Reference Material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO 17034 and ISO/IEC 17025. All information regarding the use of this CRM can be found on the certificate of analysis.
