Specificity

Secondary Antibody was prepared from polyspecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads followed by cross adsorption to remove unwanted specificities. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against Anti-Goat Serum, Mouse IgG, Mouse IgA and Mouse IgM. No reaction was observed against Bovine, Horse or Human Serum Proteins. This reagent is suitable for the detection of all Mouse isotypes and chain combinations. ELISA was used to confirm specificity at less than 1% of the target signal.
