General description
Corning® CoolCell™ freezer containers are ideal for cryopreservation of stem cells, primary cells, PBMC, cell lines, insect cells, yeast, and others. The proprietary Corning CoolCell technology utilizes a thermo-conductive alloy core and highly-insulative outer material to control the rate of heat removal and provide reproducible cell cryopreservation.

- Corning® CoolCell™ container, in combination with a -80°C freezer, will provide alcohol-free freezing at the rate of -1°C/minute
- Easy to use with quick re-use time
- Inexpensive than alcohol-based devices and no ongoing cost involved

- Radially symmetric for all vials to have a uniform freeze rate
- Numbered wells for easy sample identification
- Designed with a beveled lid for steady grip and easy opening
- Vial tips can be removed by tipping the device upside down
