Application
This mouse monoclonal Anti-Zika Virus (ZIKV-NS1), Cat. No. MABX31, is tested for use in Lateral Flow Assay and Enzyme Immunoassay (ELISA), for the detection of Recombinant Zika Virus NS1 Protein.
Target description
Zika virus (ZIKV) is a member of the virus family Flaviviridae. Zika is spread mostly by the bite of infected Aedes species mosquitoes, such as Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus. Its name comes from the Ziika Forest of Uganda, where the virus was first isolated in 1947. Zika can be passed from a pregnant woman to her fetus. Infection during pregnancy can cause certain birth defects.
