Application

The two dimensional layered inorganic nanomaterials have drawn significant attention recently owing to their thickness dependent physical and chemical properties. They find applications in photocatalysis, phototovoltaics, gas sensing, lithium ion batteries, field effect transistors, spintronics etc. Transition metal dischalcogenides represent an important class of inorganic 2D materials having the aforementioned applications.[1][2][3]

Questions

  1. I am interested in your product 808652-1EA (crystal of MoS2), but I don't know what the size 1EA means... How big is this crystal (a x b x c) ? Can it be cut ? Is it a single crystal or a polycrystal ?

    1 answer
    1. This product is offered as a single crystal. The average dimensions are 0.5 cm (L) × 0.5 cm (W) × 0.1-0.15 mm (H) which is listed in the PROPERTIES section of the product page. The crystal is not sold by weight as the size will differ slightly from lot to lot. The expected net weight is 1 gram or less.
