When calibrating a nitrogen MFC (10sccm), can I record the time when the bubble passes the 10ml mark and divide it? If it takes exactly 60 seconds to pass the 10ml mark, is it 10sccm?
1 answer-
The most common method for calibrating a gas flow rate using the Manual Bubble Flowmeter involves using a timer to measure the time required for a bubble to pass through a specific marked volume. If the bubble passes the 10 mL mark in 60 seconds, the flow rate is measured as 10 standard cubic centimeters per minute (sccm).
