General description

Metanil Yellow (MY) belongs to the azo group of dyes.

Application

Metanil Yellow (MY) may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of MY in:
  • Lipsticks and eye shadows by microwave-assisted dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (MA-DLLME) using solidification of the floating organic droplet (SFOD) clean-up followed by analysis using high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection (HPLC-DAD).
  • Ball-point pen ink, in paper ink and in turmeric raw materials as well as finished products by HPLC-DAD.

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.

Packaging

Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.
