General description

Celite® R566 is diatomaceous earth used to filter analytes from the matrices.
Celite® R566 is primarily used to interact with target reagents, but it may also be adjusted to fit corresponding scientific methods.

Application

Celite® R566 can be used:
  • As an adsorbent in the Soxhlet method to determine the fat content of lupin-based milk alternatives (LMAs)
  • For filtration of the crude reaction mixture in the synthesis of novel fluorinated and non-fluorinated di(thiazolyl)benzenes
  • To filter the polymeric reaction mixtures in the study to evaluate the effect of lipids on cold crystallization of natural rubber
  • As a filter in the synthesis of 1,4-cis-poly (isoprene) macroinitiators from natural rubber
