General description

LiChrosorb® RP-18 HPLC Column are classified as L1 USP columns and primarily used for reversed-phase HPLC of neutral, acidic and weak basic compounds. The totally porous irregular particles ensure reliable results.
LiChrospher® RP-18 HPLC column is an incredibly reliable and highly versatile, traditionally manufactured spherical silica-based support, designed for reversed-phase chromatography of acidic, neutral and weakly basic compounds - substances frequently found in all analytical fields. The optimal selectivity and performance of the column ensure that these parameters remain constant from batch to batch and from year to year.

Application

  • HPLC-UV and GC-MS Methods for Determination of Chlorambucil and Valproic Acid in Plasma for Further Exploring a New Combined Therapy of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.: This study illustrates the efficiency of the LiChrospher® RP-18 HPLC Column in a novel approach to analyzing the pharmacokinetics of chlorambucil and valproic acid, providing critical data for potential combined therapy options in treating chronic lymphocytic leukemia (Lipska et al., 2021).

  • Rapid Determination of Metronidazole and 2-Hydroxymetronidazole in Murine Blood Plasma.: Utilizes the LiChrospher® RP-18 HPLC Column to establish a rapid and accurate method for the analysis of metronidazole and its metabolites in blood plasma, enhancing the understanding of its pharmacological impacts and supporting more effective therapeutic strategies (Zemanova et al., 2022).

  • Application of chemometric approach for development and validation of high performance liquid chromatography method for estimation of ropinirole hydrochloride.: Demonstrates the application of the LiChrospher® RP-18 HPLC Column in optimizing a chemometrically enhanced method for the determination of ropinirole hydrochloride, aimed at improving treatment strategies for Parkinsons disease (Fatima et al., 2019).

  • Application of an HPLC-MS/MS method for Teicoplanin drug substance and related impurities, part 2: Identity assignment of related impurities.: This research highlights the capability of the LiChrospher® RP-18 HPLC Column in detailed impurity profiling of teicoplanin, critical for maintaining drug purity and efficacy in antibiotic treatments (Tengattini et al., 2019).
