Cell Line Description
Derived from ascites fluid of a patient with Burkitt′s Lymphoma. The cells are Epstein Barr Virus Nuclear Antigen (EBNA) negative.CA46 also expresses surface IgM kappa and secretes IgM which does not bind to protein A. Twelve percent of the cells were shown to express complement receptors whereas Fc receptors were undetectable.
Maintain cultures at 5-9x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
