Giemsa stain is a versatile differential stain that is widely used in hematology for blood and bone marrow specimens, clinical cytology specimens, bacteriology, histological biopsies, and tumor samples. Giemsa’s staining solution is composed of methylene blue, azure, and eosin. It is a major histological stain due to its unique staining of chromatin, nuclear membranes, and cytoplasmic elements. The stain is frequently used in combination with other dye solutions: May-Grünwald’s solution for Pappenheim (MGG) and Wright-Giemsa.
Application
Giemsa stain has been used for the staining of cells and blood films.
Sleep impacts diverse physiological and neural processes and is itself affected by the menstrual cycle; however, few studies have examined the effects of the estrous cycle on sleep in rodents. Studies of disease mechanisms in females therefore lack critical information

O island 48 (OI-48) of Escherichia coli consists of three functional gene clusters that encode urease, tellurite resistance (Te(r)), and putative adhesins Iha and AIDA-1. The functions of these clusters in enterohemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC) O157:H7 infection are unknown. Deletion
