Vitamin K2, also known as menaquinone, is a polyisoprenoid-substituted napthoquinone. Menaquinone-9 (MK-9) is a subtype of vitamin K2. It is commonly found in fermented dairy products like cheese.
Vitamin K2 (MK-9)-4′,5,6,7,8,8′-13C6 is a vitamin K2 isotope wherein C-4′, C-5, C-6, C-7, C-8, and C-8′ carbons are replaced by 13C6.
