General description

Calcium is a highly reactive and non-toxic metal often prepared by the aluminothermal or electrolysis methods. Calcium metal granules with a purity of 99% are a valuable material used in several industrial and academic applications. Application

Our 99% pure calcium metal granules are widely used as a reducing agent in the manufacturing of various metals, including uranium and thorium. These calcium metal granules are also used in the desulfurization of steel and as a deoxidizer in the production of various metals. The metal is also utilized in the preparation of Grignard reagents, which serve as crucial intermediates in organic synthesis.
