General description
EPA 8151 Herbicide acid mix is useful for identifying and quantifying the chlorinated herbicides on the EPA′s Appendix VIII and Appendix IX lists in solid wastes and groundwater at active hazardous treatment, storage, and disposal sites. The pre-requisite of EPA 8151 method is the use of gas chromatography (GC) with a selective detector or gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) or high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
