Cell Line Description
The antibody is directed against an immunodominant glycoprotein of bovine herpes virus 1, BHV-1, (infectious rhinotracheitis virus). Virus neutralisation could be observed with ascites fluids prepared in BALB/c mice.

In vitro potency testing of BHV-1 vaccines.
Culture Medium
DMEM + 2mM glutamine + 2 5% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS) + 5% Horse Serum (HS)
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 100,000 - 1,000,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C.
