General description

Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) belong to the class of highly toxic pollutants commonly found in various environmental matrices and food products. They find a variety of applications as flame retardants, plasticizers, dielectric and heat transfer fluids, etc.[1]

Application

PCB No 28 solution may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in water samples using gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS).[2]
