Questions

  1. What is the solubility of 35359 Closantel-(benzoyl ring-13C6)?

    1 answer
    1. The solubility of the deuterated Closantel product should be similar to that of product no. 34093, the non-deuterated Closantel. It is soluble in DMSO and Dimethyl Formamide (purged with inert gas) at approximately 20 mg/ml. However, the compound is sparingly soluble in aqueous buffers. For maximum solubility, it is recommended to first dissolve it in DMSO and then dilute it into the aqueous buffer. In a 1:5 solution of DMSO:PBS (pH 7.2), Closantel has a solubility of approximately 0.16 mg/ml, and solutions are stable for no more than one day.
