Application

cis-4,10,13,16-Docosatetraenoic acid methyl ester (Fame 22:4n-6) may be used as an analytical standard in the following:
  • For the identification of the analyte in golden algae, primate brain white matter, and mouse liver using gas chromatography coupled to ion trap mass spectrometry. The double bonds are determined using acetonitrile chemical ionization tandem mass spectrometry.
  • Lipid extract from New Zealand green-lipped mussels using gas chromatography-chemical ionization mass spectrometry (GC-CIMS/MS).
