General description

Sampling Head SHLF-CG is an additional accessory designed to be specifically used for MAS-100 CG Ex®. The MAS-100 CG Ex® has been specially developed for monitoring and measuring the microbiological contamination of compressed gases. The sampling method is based on the tried-and-tested Andersen impaction principle and accommodates the use of standard 90 to 100 mm Petri dishes. The included sieve plate is identical with other perforated lids for air samplers, such as MAS-100 NT® providing 300 holes of a 0.6 mm diameter resulting in a D50 of 1.1 μm at a flow rate of 100 liters/min. The sampling head is certified for use as pressure vessel up to a maximum pressure of 10 bar. The sampling head is made from anodized aluminum with tri-clamps made of stainless steel and can be sterilized. The instrument is an apparatus of category 3 according to EN 600079-14:1997. It can only be used in Zone 2 for gas groups IIA, IIB, IIC, compromising flammable substances which pose an explosion hazard in the temperature classes T1 to T6.

Application

The microbial air sampling devices are extensively used in Pharmaceutical and Personal care industries as well as for Food, Beverage and Environmental applications.
