Favourites
Have you chanced upon a product that you like on our website only to find out later that you cannot remember where to find it? The favourites feature allows you to save time, visualize, and organize products you are considering for your projects. Registered users will be able to enjoy this feature. By favouriting a product, you will be able to revisit them and add them to your shopping cart.
Adding products to favourites
Step 1. At the product landing page, click on the ‘star’ button to favourite an item. Make sure that you are logged into your Sigma-Aldrich.com web account.
Step 2. You will be prompted to select the list in which you want your product to be saved. You can add the product into an existing list or create a new list. Click ‘Save’ once you are ready.
View and add favourites to cart
Step 1. To view your list of favourite products, click on ‘Account’ at top of the webpage. Then, click on ‘Favourites’.
Step 2. You will be directed to the favourites page. Select the list that you wish to view on the left-hand side of the page. To add the entire list of products to the cart, select ‘Add List to Cart’.
If you wish to only add selected items, click on ‘Add to Cart’ for each individual product.
Navigating to advanced and structure search
Click on the search icon on the top page of the website and click on either ‘Advanced Search’ or ‘Structure Search’ from the drop-down.
Structure search uses a graphic depiction of chemical structures as input for a search. Draw or import chemical structures and search for matching products to the structure.
Advanced search allows you to search for products and information on our website based on special search parameters such as molecular formula, gene information, cas number, and more. You can make data specific search by selecting search your type.
Upon making a data-specific search, you can also access products and other content on our website related to your search.
