Anilazine is a triazine compound, used as a non-systemic foliar fungicide on crops such as vegetables, cereals, ornamental plants, fruits, coffee, and tobacco.
As per the commission regulation no 1107/2009, repealing the council directive 91/414/EEC, anilazine is not approved for use in European Union. A default maximum residue limit (MRL) of 0.01 mg/kg is applied for the presence of anilazine in frozen/fresh fruits and tree nuts as per regulation (EC) no. 899/2012.

application

The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
The CRM may also find the following uses:

  • Analysis of long-term persistence of three 14C-labeled pesticides- ethidimuron, methabenzthiazuron, anilazine, and their metabolites in soil
  • Gas chromatographic-mass spectrometric (GC-MS) determination of different classes of pesticide residues from various wastewater samples obtained from culturing and processing of potatoes
