The mass percentage of nitrogen is reported in the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis. The minimum amount is 1%. As an example, a lot reporting a nitrogen content of 1.7% will have 1.7 grams of nitrogen per 100 grams of product. This value will allow for approximating the amount of NH bonding present in the material.
