General description

Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a species-specific colony-stimulating factor that stimulates colony formation of megakaryocytes, neutrophils, and macrophages from bone marrow cultures. Recombinant rat IL-3 is a 15.8 kDa protein.

Physical form

Sterile filtered and lyophilized from 5 mM sodium citrate, pH 4.0.

Reconstitution

Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 μg/μL. The solution can be diluted into other aqueous buffers.

Abl interactor (Abi) 1 was first identified as the downstream target of Abl tyrosine kinases and was found to be dysregulated in leukemic cells expressing oncogenic Bcr-Abl and v-Abl. Although the accumulating evidence supports a role of Abi1 in actin

Toll-like receptors are sensing modulators of the innate immune system. One member of this protein family, Toll-like receptor (TLR)-9, is increasingly being investigated as therapeutic target for infectious diseases and cancer. Double-Stem Loop ImmunoModulator (dSLIM) is a new TLR-9 agonist

Reciprocal interactions between tumor cells and their microenvironment vitally impact tumor progression. In this study, we show that GM-CSF produced by primary breast tumor cells induced the activation of plasmacytoid predendritic cells (pDC), a cell type critical to anti-viral immunity.
