General description

Monosodium phosphate (NaH2PO4), a phosphatizing agent is used on steel surfaces. It is soluble in water.

Application

Sodium phosphate monobasic has been used:
  • in insect cell culture to adjust pH
  • as a component in culture medium for pig oocyte maturation and fertilization
  • as a resealing solution for electroporation
