Descripción general

Transformer-2 protein homolog β/splicing factor, arginine/serine-rich 10 (transformer 2 homolog, Drosophila) (TRA2B, SFRS10) is an alternative splicing regulator that itself exists as alternative splice variants. Alternative mRNA splicing provides transcript diversity. SFRS10 binds SMN1/SMN2 RNA and restores full-length (FL)-SMN2 mRNA levels in vitro. Deficiency of SFRS10 results in early embryonic lethality.

Especificidad

Anti-SFRS10 (AB1) polyclonal antibody reacts with canine, chicken, human, mouse, rat, pig, and bovine transformer-2 protein homolog β/splicing factor, arginine/serine-rich 10 (transformer 2 homolog, Drosophila) proteins.

Inmunógeno

The immunogen for anti-SFRS10 antibody: synthetic peptide derected towards the N terminal of human SFRS10

Aplicación

Anti-SFRS10 (AB1) polyclonal antibody is used to tag transformer-2 protein homolog β/splicing factor, arginine/serine-rich 10 (transformer 2 homolog, Drosophila) for detection and quantitation by Western blotting and in plasma by immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to determine the roles of transformer-2 protein homolog β/splicing factor, arginine/serine-rich 10 (transformer 2 homolog, Drosophila) in the regulation of alternative pre-mRNA splicing.
