General description

Propargite, a non-systemic acaricide, is most commonly used on crops such as cotton, vines, nuts, tea etc for controlling phytophagous mite infestation.[1]

Application

Propargite has been used as pesticide standard for determination of residual pesticides from:
  • Olive oil samples using GC–MS and HPLC–MS methods.[2]
  • Tea leaf extract using GC-negative chemical ionization mass spectrometry (GC-NCI-MS) and UHPLC-tandem mass spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS).[3]
  • Apple leaf extract using HPLC method.[1]
