Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 inhibitor B (UniProt P42772; also known as MTS-2, Multiple tumor suppressor 2, p14-INK4b, p15-INK4b, p15INK4B) is encoded by the CDKN2B (also known as MTS2) gene (Gene ID 1030) in human. The INK and CIP/KIP families of cyclin dependent kinase inhibitors (CDKis) protect cells from oncogenic signals-initiated cellular transformation. INK4a and INK4b (encoded by the CDKN2A and CDKN2B gene, respectively) constitute the INK4 subfamily of CDKis. INK4a and INK4b are induced by oncogenic Ras and are involved in cell cycle G1 arrest and cellular senescence. Inactivation of CDKN2A and CDKN2B are found in a wide variety of human malignancies and murine tumor models.
Specificity
Clone GF10 (10C7A6), Cat. No. MABE1664 and clone GF7 (7CIG4), Cat. No. 05-430 correspond to two independent clones originated from the same mouse host. Clone GF10 (10C7A6) is recommended as an alternative to clone GF7 (7CIG4), however these two clones are expected to recognize different epitopes, exhibit different target-binding affinity and species cross-reactivity. Cross-reactivity of clone GF10 (10C7A6) toward spliced isoform 2 (p10; UniProt P42772-2) has not been confirmed.
Immunogen
Recombinant full-length human INK4b (p15).
Application
Anti-INK4b (p15) Antibody, clone GF10 (10C7A6) is an antibody against INK4b (p15) for use in Western Blotting.
Quality
Evaluated by Western Blotting in HEK293T cell lysate.
Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:250 dilution of this antibody detected INK4b (p15) in 50 µg of HEK293T cell lysate.
Mouse monoclonal IgG1κ hybridoma culture supernatant with 0.05% sodium azide.

Extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs) have been related to multiple cancers, including breast cancer, hepatocellular cancer, lung cancer and colorectal cancer. ERK1/2 inhibitor can suppress growth of KRAS-mutant pancreatic tumors by targeting cancer cell. However, no studies have shown the expression
