General description

Este kit de purificación de agua incluye lo siguiente:
  • El módulo de pretratamiento IPAK Gard® 10-15 elimina eficazmente coloides, partículas y cloro libre del agua del grifo para proteger la membrana de ósmosis inversa (RO) y mejorar el rendimiento del sistema.
  • El cartucho de ultrafiltración IPAK Quanta® contiene un innovador medio de intercambio iónico IQnano™ que logra la eliminación de iones hasta concentraciones traza. Además, el carbón activado sintético de alta calidad capta trazas de contaminantes orgánicos.
  • El filtro de ventilación del depósito, rediseñado para una integración perfecta, proporciona una mayor protección frente a los contaminantes atmosféricos.

Este kit está diseñado para utilizarse con los sistemas Milli-Q® IQ 7010-15 para la producción de agua purificada (tipo II) y agua ultrapura (tipo I).

Application

Para una protección óptima de la membrana de ósmosis inversa, eliminación de trazas de iones y sustancias orgánicas, y protección avanzada contra contaminantes atmosféricos.

Features and Benefits

El módulo de pretratamiento IPAK Gard® 10-15 contiene:
  • Carbón activado para proteger contra el cloro libre.
  • Filtro de profundidad para proteger contra partículas y coloides.

El filtro de ventilación del depósito contiene:
  • Carbón activo para retirar las sustancias orgánicas volátiles.
  • Cal sodada para eliminar el CO2.
  • Membrana de filtración para evitar la entrada de partículas y bacterias en el depósito.

El cartucho IPAK Quanta® contiene:
  • El innovador medio de intercambio iónico IQnano™ para eliminar iones hasta concentraciones traza.
  • El carbón activado sintético de alta calidad capta concentraciones traza de contaminantes orgánicos.

Además, el 63 % de los proveedores de piezas para el cartucho IPAK Gard® y el 78 % de los proveedores de piezas para el cartucho IPAK Quanta® incluidos en este kit cuentan con la certificación de sistema de gestión medioambiental ISO 14001.

    1. Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

  2. How are consumables changed?

For high-flow systems, please keep in mind that all consumable changes must be approved by a 3-digit code that only the person in charge of the system knows.

It's possible to place only one consumable order per year with a specific contract called "Consumable Supply Agreement (CSA)" (https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/US/en/products/water-purification/milli-q-consumables#csa).   6. How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

    1. The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.

  7. What is the consumables delivery time?

    1. Refer to the consumable's Product page for a first estimation of its expected delivery time and contact customer service for more information.

  8. If I have a final filter that I use only occasionally (e.g., Biopak®) and have another filter (e.g. Millipak®) that I most of the time, can I keep the 'occasional-use' filter for use again at a later time?

    1. It is not possible to re-use a filter that has been used and then removed because air intake during replacement creates an airlock and blocks water passing through the filter. If you regularly need two different filters, we recommend using two POD dispensers.

  10. Can consumables be opened and refilled?

    1. Unfortunately, this is not possible because of safety issues and the need to guarantee the quality of consumables and their interior purification components. Our consumables are manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified facility France in agreement with high quality standards.
