    1. The methoxy and propylene oxide contents are as follows:
      1.1-1.6 mol methoxy per mol cellulose (D.S.) 21 wt. % methoxy
      0.1-0.3 mol propylene oxide per mol cellulose (M.S.) 5 wt. % propylene oxide
