General description

Human CD47, also known as leukocyte surface antigen CD47, Rh-related antigen, integrin-associated protein (IAP), antigenic surface determinant protein OA3, and MER6. GenBank Accession No. NM_001777, a.a. 19-139 expressed in a HEK293 cell expression system, fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1, and enzymatically biotin-labeled using Avitag™ technology. MW = 42.2 kDa. This protein runs at a higher MW by SDS-PAGE due to glycosylation.

  1. What part of the protein for product SRP0555 was modified with biotin?

    1. The Avitag (Biotinylation site) is at the C terminus, following the Fc region. The protein is designed with CD47 protein at the N-terminus, a short linker, the human Fc IgG1 region (a.a. 100-330), then the Avitag sequence. The biotin is attached via BirA at that Avitag region.
