Pcp2 may function as a cell-type specific modulator for G protein-mediated cell signaling. PCP2 (Purkinje cell protein 2) codes for a protein belonging to the GoLoco domain-containing family. Pcp2 is specifically localized to cerebellum in the Purkinje cells and in retinal bipolar cells. From Pcp2 protein structural analysis, it is known that Pcp2 contains two GoLoco motifs.
Immunogen
PCP2 (NP_032816, ) This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the C-terminal region of mouse Pcp2.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Pcp2 might serve as an inhibitor of guanine nucleotide dissociation.
Physical form
Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide.
